-Was ist deine Stärke?
Ich kenne mich selbst gut. Ich kenne meine Stärken und Schwächen.
Ich bin eine selbstsichere Person. Ich war das jüngste Kind, ein Mädchen mit 4 Brüdern.
Ich bin selbstsicher, in dem was ich tue und offen dafür, zu adaptieren und zu lernen, wenn Veränderung ansteht. Ich mag Konversationen, mit Leuten zu sprechen und unterschiedliche Meinungen zu hören.
-Wie coacht du dich in schwierigen Zeiten?
In meinen 20ern habe ich mich mehr auf das Problem konzentriert, aber das war so anstrengend und einnehmend. Als ich 30 wurde, es war wie Magie, ich fokussierte mich nicht mehr auf das Problem, sondern auf die Lösung und Lösungswege. Das hat meinen Leben verändert und wie ich mit Situationen umgegangen bin.
Ich frage mich immer: “Ok, wie komme ich ans Ziel.” Und dann beginne ich daran zu arbeiten.
-Was war deine härteste Lektion als Nail stylist?
Das Stigma, ein ‘Nailstylist’ zu sein. Als wäre das nur ein Hobby für ungebildete Frauen, diesen Mythus zu wiederlegen, das war die Herausforderung für mich.
Viele Nailstylists in Österreich und Deutschland sind Selbstständige, in erster Linie Business Frauen, Unternehmerinnen. Ich kann mich erinnern, ich dacht, für viele Österreicher ist es die Wahrnehmung, als wäre ein Nailstylist zu sein der Todesstoss für die Karriere.
Das ist es nicht, man muss das Gesamtbild sehen.
Ich arbeite derzeit in einer gut besuchten Nail Bar in Salzburg mit hart arbeitenden, höchst talentierten Mitarbeitern. Ich mache auch die Fashion Weeks (London, Paris, Milan) in Assistenz der Branchen Ikone Marian Newman und Jenny Longworth mit großen Catwalk Shows. Ich bin außerdem Brand Ambassador und Ausbilder für CND. Und ich habe seit kurzem einen weltweiten Vertrag mit MINX Nails Inc., dass ich weltweit Nägel Designs für sie produziere.
-Was brachte dich dazu, Session Nailstylist zu werden?
Ich habe auf der Universität Kunstgeschichte und Italienisch studiert. ‘Nailartist ‘ zu sein, war eigentlich nie mein Plan.
Als ich nach Salzburg gezogen bin, habe ich eine Marktlücke wahrgenommen. Ich war unglücklich, was der Arbeitsmarkt zu bieten hatte. Ich dachte, warum sollte ich nicht etwas anbieten, das mehr konzentriert und spezialisiert auf natürliche Nägel ist.
Ich habe mich total informiert, recherchiert, und dann ein Business mit loyalen, talentierten und höchst ausgebildeten, kompetenten Mitarbeitern aufgebaut.
Ich konzentrierte mich auf meine persönlichen Ziele. Ich absolvierte ein Masters Program online www.mastered.com mit den in der Branche führenden Fashion Leaders (Hair / Make-up /Photography / Nails) als Mentoren. Ich bekam einen Deal mit AIRFIELD, eine Testimonial Kampagne mit Supermodel Helena Christensen. Das war so ein Auftrieb, mit anderen international erfolgreichen Session MUA & Hair Artists zusammenzuarbeiten. Ich wusste, da bleibe ich dran.
-Was macht dich glücklich?
Ich mag Menschen, ich mag besonders positiv denkende Menschen. Ich mag Frauen, die lachen, die wirklich lachen. Diese Menschen können gerne mit mir befreundet sein, mich als loyalen Freund haben.
Es ist mir ein absolutes Vergnügen mit meinen Liebsten, mit meinen engsten Kreis, meinen Freunden zu lachen. Mein Mann und mein wundervolles Kind Mara, sie haben das beste Lachen überhaupt!

-What is your strength?
I am very self aware. I know my strengths and my weaknesses I am confident person (I was the youngest and the only girl in a house of 4 boys!) I have confidence in what I’m doing , but am very open to adapt to change when needed. I love a conversation with a difference of opinions
-How do you coach yourself in difficult times?
In my 20’s I always focused on the problem. The problem was always so consuming. Magically , once I hit 30.. I started to ignore the problem and focus on the solution. This changed my life and how I deal with situations. After recognizing the problem, I automatically jump into survival and ask myself ‘ OK what’s my goal? ‘ and then I start to work backwards.
-What was the hardest lesson in my career as a Nail stylist?
The stigma attached to being a ‘Nailstylist’. It was a challenge to dispel this myth that being a Nailstylist was a hobby for uneducated women. Most Nailstylists in Austria and Germany are actually self-employed and first and foremost business women. I found that people in austria, assumed becoming a Nailstylist was a dead-end career move. It’s not , there is a career there, but you have to be able to see the bigger picture. I currently own a very busy Nail Bar in Salzburg with super talented and hardworking staff. I also work the Fashion weeks circuit (London, Paris, Milan) assisting Industry Icon Marian Newman and Jenny Longworth with major Catwalk shows. I’m a Brand Ambassador and Educator for CND and I recently won a global contract with MINX Nails Inc. to have a design produced for their Nail wraps worldwide.
-What made you become a Session Nailstylist?
As I studied History of Art and Italian in University, being a ‘Nailartist ‘ was never on my wish list originally. When I moved to Salzburg I saw a huge gap in the market, I was very unhappy with what was on offer for me as an office worker at that time. I thought, why not offer something more open, more specialized, more concentrated on natural nails . I just knew I could do it better. So off I went and studied this craft like crazy.. Once I achieved my initial goal of building a strong business with loyal, talented and highly trained staff, I concentrated on some personal goals. I applied and was hand selected to participate on Masters Program online www.mastered.com with Fashion Industry leaders (Hair / Make-up /Photography / Nails) as Mentors. I landed a job with AIRFIELD on a testimonial Campaign with Supermodel Helena Christensen and that was such a buzz, working with other International Session MUA & Hair Artists. I just knew it was something I wanted to pursue.
-What makes me happy?
I’m a people person. I like positive people. I love women who laugh .. I love a woman who really laughs… from their belly. These people can easily be my friend and I’m a loyal friend. I get great personal enjoyment from laughing with my close circle of friends. My husband and my beautiful child Mara, have THE best belly laughs ever!
